Tedesco suffers fractured shoulder blade

In-form Wests Tigers full-back James Tedesco is facing a spell on the sidelines after suffering a fractured shoulder blade in Thursday's victory at South Sydney Rabbitohs.

Tedesco, the leading NRL try-scorer this season with nine, was injured in the ninth minute of Wests' long-awaited victory at ANZ Stadium and is waiting to discover how long he will be out of action.

The 23-year-old has been ruled out of the City v Country Origin game next weekend and will see a specialist on Monday to discover the extent of the damage he sustained.

Tedesco's team-mate Mitchell Moses missed the victory over the Bunnies after suffering a quad injury in the warm-up, but the five-eighth is expected to return against Canterbury Bulldogs in round 10.
