FOOTBALL NEWS : Earthquake in Ecuador postpone league matches
Ecuadorian Football Federation decided to postpone the matches on Sunday for the league, because of the earthquake that hit the country on Saturday evening strongly 7.8 on the Richter scale and left behind 77 dead and at least 588 injured, as well as physical damage.
The head of the Union of the game Carlos Veattas postponed matches on Sunday to be decided regarding her stay another day within the prescribed Union hearing on Tuesday.
This procedure is in line with the state of alert declared by the government to cope with the situation caused by the earthquake, according to the president of the federation.
