FOOTBALL NEWS : Noor Sabri retires on Facebook

Iraqi goalkeeper Nour Sabri national team, announced his retirement from international football.

 

He said Noor Sabri in his own cross on the social networking site "Facebook" a statement, said it was time to take off the shirt after a trip amounted to more than a decade.

He added: "It is time to make way for the new generation of players to take their turn with the Iraqi national team."

The draw for the AFC, which took place on Tuesday in Malaysia, left Iraq in the second Asian group to qualify for the next World Cup in Russia, along with teams of Australia, Japan, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates and Thailand.
