FOOTBALL NEWS : Algeria coach confirms his desire to leave

Frenchman Christian Gourcuff Algeria national football team coach confirmed on Thursday his desire to resign from office.

said in remarks to the newspaper "Tlagram" local in the French Bretagne region, "Yes, I want to leave, this is nothing new was I said to the President of the Federation (Mohamed Raouraoua) in the month of November, / last November, but he refused to leave."
He added: "I told the players once again that my position has not changed and I want to leave. Now what is the use Union to retain coach wanted to leave. The team is currently close to resolving qualify and soon summer vacation, it's time (to leave)."
The Algerian radio on Wednesday confirmed that  decided to resign from his post.
