VOLLEY BALL NEWS : Ahly defeated Zamalek in the African Champions League

Ahly beat arch-rivals Zamalek in three consecutive runs to ensure competition on the fifth place in the Africa Club Championship volleyball in Cairo on Thursday.

In the competition to determine the centers of the fifth to eighth defending champions Al Ahly beat Zamalek host the tournament 25-22 and 25-22 and 25-23.

He will meet Al Ahly in the fifth place match with Espoir from the Democratic Republic of Congo, while Zamalek Fab play against Cameroon in a meeting seventh.

Ahly came out of the quarter-finals against Tunisia's Esperance champion four times in Zamalek lost to local rivals Smouha.

Later on Thursday, he plays Esperance against Smouha and meet the talaa el gish  Egyptian army club with Libyan Swehly called in the semifinals.
