SPORT NEWS : Sterling threatened absent for a long time for Manchester City .

Could miss Manchester City's FA Raheem Sterling for a period of up to eight weeks because of an injury in the muscles of the upper thigh.

According to the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) on Wednesday, he was injured Sterling (21 years) signing from Liverpool for 49 million pounds (69.2 million dollars) last year in a British record deal, through the City's defeat against Manchester United on Sunday.

He will miss the face of Sterling City vs Paris Saint-Germain in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League, and will need to prove his fitness in order to join the England squad at the European Championships in 2016 in June.
